"Americans want..."

Politicians love to state what Americans ‘want.’ Let me have a hand in this game.

My fellow Americans, and a few misguided Canadians, what this nation needs …and I know that you want… because I hear from you everyday — men, women, Geico lizards, and weed-farm herbalist alike — is more orange cars. Well, I am here to do all that I can to help you get more of these desperately wanted, and needed, orange-clad sheet metal beauties.

When I was a child, I watched the Dukes of Hazzard …and the orange 1969 Dodge Charger jumped into my, no our living rooms, lives, and hearts along with repurposed blue jean cut-offs. Orange is the color of safety cones and that will certainly lead to safer roads.

What safe Americans want is what I tell them they want, because, it is safe to say, after I say something, then they think it and then want it. That is the free American way. They want two jobs, a way to clean the coal they already have, drool-free dogs, and weight burning butter. I will give Americans all of these things, but only because they asked.

Today is the day that we take back America and its color values, wall out Canada, and begin the process of buttering all sides of everyone’s bread. Americans want to be buttered up, and as America’s preeminent civic servant, “I am here to butter …YOU up!”

Not much rhymes with orange, but orange juice is the breakfast drink of champions and that is what I want for all Americans to be — champions of each new day. When you follow me, I will follow you on Twitter and we will be leading America around the corner of progress.

Since Americans are all the same, they all want the same things — peace, love, freedom, unity, visceral competitiveness, lots of war …and to re-elect me. I will give you all of these things, and whatever else Canada does not have nailed down.

We can do this together. I will tell you to do and you will do it. It will be no trouble at all and very little work for me. That is great because this grand plan will free me up to tell you more things to do; and once you do them the economy will be bigger and richer. “Orange you glad” I will be the top banana.

Let’s remove the barriers to Canada so we can jump start our migration into the maple-syrup nation before global warming roasts USA Americans and leaves the Far North overpopulated with re-transplanted Florida retirees. “You can’t always get what you want,” but with my help you will get what I need. Only you can be the change in the world that I tell you ‘to be’ — so “let it be.” Thank you. God Bless America …and you, but ‘mostly me.’
